Several days, several venues, a mix of workshops, parties and market. Montreal hosts a few each year, including one of the largest fetish conventions in the world, drawing thousands from the United States and Europe. They book months ahead.

What happens

Workshops, talks and sometimes screenings during the day. Parties at night, with fashion shows and title contests. In between, a market where makers sell leather, rope and metal, often the only chance all year to try before buying.

Passes

Most sell a full pass alongside single tickets. The pass pays off from two or three activities, and sometimes opens workshops that show as sold out on their own. Partner hotels fill up before the festival itself does.
